7 Months Old...slow down little man.

So Chase is now a little over 7 months old now...WOW. I know all mommies say this, but I seriously have no idea where the past 1/2 year has gone. It seems like just yesterday we were bringing the little peanut home from the hospital...or wondering if we would ever get more than 4 hours of sleep in row again.

Now I am running around picking puffs up off the floor ( if Bella doesnt get to them first), holding him up to stand, and thank goodness...getting a full night of sleep! No teeth quite yet and no sign of crawling in the near future...but thats quite alright with me. My little guy is starting to look more like a boy and less like a baby...less like my little peanut.

Its all bittersweet...I cant wait for him to reach his milestones, but sometimes I long to hold that little newborn in my arms just one more time. My little man is growing up and I am loving and cherishing every single minute of it!

Go Daddy..Go!

This weekend Daddy ran in the Brea 8K and Chase and Mommy tagged along to cheer him on. Mom was supposed to run too...but my unexpected surgery got in the way :(. Oh well next time! Bill ran the race in 43 minutes (his goal was under 45)...We are very proud of him and can't wait to cheer him on for the next one.

Valentines Day Buddies

Chase and Addison are buddies through my moms group and it just so happened that these two ended up being each others "valentines". Mia and I got together for a quick V-day trip to target with these two and shot some cute pics in our backyard afterwards. Addison is almost one...so getting her to sit still for a pic takes a lot of pictures! Needless to say..these two always have fun together and so do the moms!

He has a way with the ladies...

This past weekend we had dinner at our good friends the Brown's house. Bill and I met Steph and Loren Brown in our childbirthing class of all places..and we have been hanging out ever since. They have the cutest little girl Paige and she is a little less than a month younger than Chase. As you can tell from these pics they are already becoming good buddies!

Babies and hotel rooms don't mix!

When my mom was in town I had to attend a 3 day long sales conference in Santa Barbara..I had the great idea to bring her and Chase along for the ride. Not such a great idea, especially when you have a kid like Chase who gets bored of a toy or his certain surrounding after 10 minutes. The hotel room was very nice, but there is only so much you can do to keep a baby entertained. Kudos to my mom for dealing with her demanding grandchild!

Time Flys By...

Chase is getting to be such a big boy...he has become so curious about everything recently. He is a very active baby and we have come to accept his "demanding" nature. This child need to be constantly entertained and stimulated. The one place he is pretty relaxed..almost everytime he is there is the bathtub...Chase loves his bathtime!



Chase loves to "chew" and puts almost everything and anything in his mouth..this teether is a giraffe named Sophie and Chase thinks its the best thing since sliced bread. He loves to chew and chew and chew...no teeth to speak of yet.



Grandma Carnekie came to visit for a week and we went to the park to test Chase out on the swings...he had been before, but this time was the most enjoyable!
